Lenovo™ Showcased a Portfolio of PCs and Monitors to Deliver Eyesafe Solutions in a Hybrid Working World
Focused on a bold vision to deliver smarter technology for all, Lenovo highlighted its 30+ commercial and consumer monitors and laptops which have achieved Eyesafe® Certification. Chief among these are several thin and light consumer laptops, certified models of ThinkBook™ SMB laptops, and the most certified professional monitors on the market.1 Lenovo’s Visuals business, headed by Stefan Engel, Vice President and General Manager, is leading the charge in making eye health a priority. “Lenovo is committed to eye health and safety in the design of our product solutions,” said Engel. “Low blue light is an innovative feature that we’ve championed for years. Now faced with increased levels of screen time, more customers are ready to talk about what can be done to reduce their blue light exposure.” The event also featured Zhaochun Ma, Executive Director, Lenovo Consumer & SMB Notebook Development Center in the Intelligent Devices Group, who announced that select laptop lines will now predominantly display the Eyesafe mark to help inform consumers. “The Eyesafe mark has emerged as the gold standard across the consumer electronics industry when it comes to low blue light filtration,” said Ma. “We want to give Lenovo PC users peace of mind to enjoy the vivid colors of their display without worrying about the impacts of excessive exposure.”
